Men's Tennis Doubles Team Wins Bulldog Classic

Fresno, CA -- USC doubles team Nick Rainey and Ryan Moore swept past Pacific, Oregon, Washington and second-seed San Diego to earn the doubles main draw title this weekend (Oct. 8-10) at the Fresno State Bulldog Classic. The duo entered the tournament as the top-seeded team.
Rainey, a sophomore from Mercer Island, WA, advanced to third round of play before losing to Matt Hanlin (8) of Washington, 7-6, 0-6, 6-3. Rainey also entered singles competition as the top-seed.
After losing in the first round of the main draw, freshman Parker Collins was defeated by Mark Wooley of Washington in the first round of the singles back draw, 6-7, 6-4, 6-2.
