HONOLULU -- Junior Sofia Konoukh scored four goals to power No. 3 USC over No. 7 Hawaii 13-6 at Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex Thursday night. USC improved to 11-3 overall and 4-2 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play while Hawaii falls to 10-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
A solid three-pronged Trojan offensive attack was the difference in the match. USC erupted for four goals in the first period and four more in the second.
Hawaii could only muster one goal in the second half. Konoukh scored two of her scoring two of four goals in the first period. Aniko Pelle and Sandra Milicev each added three goals each.
