USC sophomore Robert Farah emerged victorious on Wednesday to move into the main draw as a qualifier in the Polo Ralph Lauren Men's All-American in Tulsa, Okla. With a 6-3, 6-4 win over UC Santa Barbara's Philip Therp, Farah will join senior Kaes Van't Hof in the singles main draw on Thursday. The pair are also teamed up as USC's doubles duo in the main draw doubles, also beginning Thursday.

Farah was one of three Trojans who had advanced into Wednesday's third round of qualifying. Sophomore Gary Sacks was upended in the third round by Arizona's Claudio Christen 6-4, 6-2 to come up short of the main draw. Freshman Jaak Poldma also fell in the third round, losing in a three-set battle 6-7 (4), 7-5, 7-3 to San Diego's Thomas Liversage.

On Thursday, Farah is lined up to face Nick Rinks of Michigan State in the first round of the All-American main draw. USC teammate #43 Kaes Van't Hof will take on Tennessee's Chris Racz.

In doubles play, Farah/Van't Hof are set to face the 5-8 seeded Alabama pair of Dan Buikema-Matt Thibaudeau at 6 p.m.

#125 Farah is coming off a freshman season in which he posted a 22-7 overall singles record, and also went 22-7 in doubles playing with Van't Hof. #43 Van't Hof reached the NCAA Singles Tournament in 2007, finishing his junior season with a 30-8 overall singles record.
