LOS ANGELES, CALIF. -- The No. 7 USC men's tennis team had its nonconference clash with No. 34 Arizona State suspended shortly after doubles play due to rain on Saturday afternoon. The Trojans and the Sun Devils tried to escape the wet weather in Los Angeles with an early start to the match, but rains washed out the start of singles. The teams will try to finish the match at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Marks Stadium.
USC grabbed the doubles point first with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. If the skies stay clear at 11 a.m., the teams will pick up where they left off in the first set of their singles matches with USC leading the dual match overall 1-0 after doubles.
