DeMar DeRozan's Jersey Retired

On Thursday, Feb. 13, DeMar DeRozan became the seventh USC men's basketball player to have his jersey raised to the rafters at Galen Center.
In DeRozan's single season at USC (2008-09), the Compton native averaged 13.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
No. 10 led the Trojans to the Pac-10 Tournament Championship that year, where they defeated Arizona State.
DeRozan was named Tournament MVP, and also made the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team.
In 2009, the Toronto Raptors made DeRozan the 9th pick in the NBA Draft.
During his 10-year NBA career, DeRozan has been named an All-Star four times.
He has also made the All-NBA Second Team once and the All-NBA Third Team once.
In addition to his success in the NBA, DeRozan has won gold with Team USA at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
DeRozan brought his family, including daughters Diar and Mari, to Galen Center for the big night.
His high school basketball coach was also in attendance, as was fellow NBA star DeMarcus Cousins, plus fellow USC basketball alumni Chimezie Metu, Bennie Boatwright and Kevin Porter Jr.
