Tristan Bradley and Karl Lee Reach Quarterfinals at ITA Southwest Regional

Graduate student Tristan Bradley scored big for the Trojans, battling from the singles qualifying bracket into the round of sixteen. Bradley went 3-1 on the weekend, defeating opponents from Hawaii, USD, and UCLA in straight-set victories before falling to Dominique Rolland from UCSB. Senior Karl Lee joined Bradley in the round of 16 after starting in the main draw, defeating opponents from UC Irvine and Hawaii before falling to crosstown rival Emon Van Loben Sels from UCLA.
The two upperclassmen also paired up for the first time this season in the double's tournament. After a close victory in the opening round of 32, Lee and Bradley stormed through the round of 16 before falling in the quarterfinals.
Freshman Niels Hoffmann rounded out the team in Arizona. After winning in the qualifying draw to make it into the main draw, Hoffmann had an early stumble, falling in the round of 64. However, the freshman bounced back in the back draw, rattling off two straight victories to make it into the consolation quarterfinals. Hoffmann finished the weekend with a 3-2 singles record.
