USC Beach Volleyball's Zoey Henson-Madison White Named MPSF/Molten Pair of the Week

LOS ANGELES – The USC beach volleyball pair of sophomore Zoey Henson (Cypress, Calif./Cypress HS) and junior Madison White (Scottsdale, Ariz./ASU Preparatory Academy) was selected as the MPSF/Molten Pair of the Week on Tuesday, April 8.

Henson-White have the distinction of being the first-ever USC duo to be chosen for the MPSF's weekly award and collect the 30th weekly conference honor in program history. The Trojans—who previously played in the Pac-12 Conference—claimed a league-record 29 pair of the week awards between 2016 and 2024.

Henson and White combined to go 4-0 at last weekend's Best in the West tournament in Laguna Beach, Calif. The duo improved to 18-5 overall (all at the top court) and delivered the clinching point in two of the Trojans' duals. Individually, White collected her 75th-career win and improved to 75-22. Henson moved to 45-15 in her career.

Henson-White opened the weekend with a three-set win over Stanford's Avery Jackson and Brooke Rockwell, 13-21, 21-18, 15-12, to produce the clinching point in a win over the fourth-ranked Cardinal. They followed up with a 21-18, 20-22, 15-5 win against Hawai'i's Amirah Ali and Alana Embry to go 2-0 on the first day. The USC pair improved to 3-0 with a 21-19, 21-19 win over Washington's Teila Allen and Jade Sadeiko to help the Trojans clinch a 5-0 sweep of the Huskies; and closed the weekend with a dominant 21-10, 21-11 win over North Florida's Mackenzie Murphy and Presley Murray.

The seventh-ranked Women of Troy (20-6) took down No. 4 Stanford (4-1) and swept No. 16 North Florida, No. 17 Hawai'i, and No. 19 Washington to extend to a five-dual win streak. Four USC pairs went 4-0 in Laguna Beach, and one was 3-1 to give the Trojans a 19-1 record.

The Trojans head to San Luis Obispo this week for the Center of Effort Challenge hosted by Cal Poly at the Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex. USC takes on Florida State and the host Mustangs in two duals on Friday (April 11) and then goes up against Stanford on Saturday (April 12). Following the three pool duals, the Trojans will play in one of four finals matches set for Saturday evening.
