
USC’s Moritz Wesemann Wins Pair of Gold Medals at 2025 FISU World University Games

Wesemann wins first USC swim or dive FISU World University Games gold medal since 2015.
RHINE-RUHR, Germany - USC diver Moritz Wesemann captured two gold medals over the weekend, representing team Germany at the 2025 FISU World University Games.
Wesemann first won gold individually, claiming the three-meter event with a final score of 454.20 points. The graduate student, who won USC's first ever Big Ten three-meter diving title earlier this year, won the event by a margin of 5.75 points.
On Saturday, Wesemann and his teammates captured the gold medal in the mixed team three-meter and 10-meter final, tallying 437.10 points for team Germany.
Wesemann will now shift his focus to the upcoming World Diving Championships in Singapore, July 26-August 3 at the OCBC Aquatic Center.
