26 Trojans Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

USC swimming and diving named Scholar All-America program.
LOS ANGELES – 26 members of USC's swimming and diving program were named Scholar All-Americans as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Thursday, July 3. The 18 First-Team Scholar All-America selections is the most in program history.
18 Trojans were named First-Team Scholar All-Americans as Caroline Famous, Justina Kozan, Mackenzie Hodges, Ashley McMillan, Claire Tuggle, Ella Ristic, Genevieve Sasseville, Kaitlyn Dobler, Kate Miller, Vasilissa Buinaia, Artem Selin, Griffin O'Leary, Junhao Chan, Laurent Gosselin-Paradis, Luke Maurer, Moritz Wesemann, Oliver Sogaard-Andersen and Shangfei Wang earned prestigious academic honors.
Additionally, Anthony Fitzgerald, Ella Flowers, Grace Lee, Lily Dormans, Marlene Kahler, Alice Waldow, Isabella Schneider and Katherine Adams were named to the second team.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. To earn a second-team nod, student-athletes must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
The Trojan's 26 Scholar All-Americans comes on the heels of the CSCAA announcing USC women's and men's swimming and diving as CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Teams on July 2.
