USC Men’s Tennis Sends a Trio of Trojans to Sherwood Cup

The Trojans will travel graduate transfer Jack McCarthy, sophomore Niels Hoffmann and freshman Pablo Robledo to first tournament of the fall.
LOS ANGELES - USC men's tennis will send a trio of players, including sophomore returner Niels Hoffmann and newcomers Jack McCarthy and Pablo Robledo to compete in the Sherwood Collegiate Cup this weekend. The event runs Friday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The tournament marks the first competition this fall for Troy and the USC debut for McCarthy and Robledo.
The 12-team field features some tennis of the premiere tennis programs in the country: Pepperdine, UCLA, SMU and Cal.
The event will not offer live scoring or video.
