USC's Zoey Henson and Sarah Wood Named AVCA/CBVB Pair of the Week

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced this week's National Pair of the Week. After a stellar performance during the MPSF Midseason Rumble, USC's Zoey Henson and Sarah Wood earned their first AVCA/CBVB National Pair of the Week award.
Henson and Wood have been a dominant force all season long, moving up to the first flight after the first weekend of play. The duo is 15-1 on the season and went 6-0 during the last week of play against No. 10 California, No. 13 LSU, No. 15 Stetson, No. 16 Grand Canyon, No. 18 Washington, Oregon and CSUN.
This is the first season Henson and Wood have played together at USC. They also earned MPSF Pair of the Week honors after being named the Most Outstanding Pair at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic. This is their first National Pair of the Week honor.
The Women of Troy will return to action this Saturday and Sunday at the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational, taking on Tampa, Florida State, Florida Atlantic and TCU throughout the weekend.
