Kennedy Coakley Lands On AVCA Player of the Year Semifinalist List

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association has announced the eight semifinalists for this year's Collegiate Beach Volleyball Player of the Year. For USC, sophomore Kennedy Coakley earned a spot on the list.
She has been crucial for USC, boasting an overall record of 25-8 this season in both the first and second flights. She has secured key wins throughout the season against some of the top teams in the country, beating Stanford and LSU twice while also taking down TCU, Cal Poly, Cal and UCLA, to name a few.
The AVCA will announce the finalists for the award just before the NCAA Championships, with the Player of the Year being officially announced on May 1.
