Bio
2020: Max Statham, from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, competed for the Trojans as a 2020 junior in the fall semester before leaving the team.
2019: Statham again raced in three events at the 2019 Pac-12 Championships, taking 22nd in the 1650y free (15:49.09), 32nd in the 500y free (4:32.04) and 35th in the 200y free (1:40.87) … At the 2018 Texas Invitational, Statham took 15th in the mile (15:44.74).
2018: Statham competed in three events as a 2018 freshman at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing 13th in the 1650y free (PR 15:21.80), 19th in the 500y free (4:26.09) and 22nd in the 200y free (1:38.46) … He earned CSCAA Scholar All-American honorable mention honors.
AUSTRALIA: Statham attended Southport School in Gold Coast, Queensland … He was a finalist at the 2016 McDonalds Queensland Championships (17-18) in the 200m and 400m free and 100m back.
CLUB: TSS Aquatic.
PERSONAL: Statham is majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
