Aaron Williams joined USC in 2020 as a defensive graduate assistant, working with the defensive backs.
In 2020, USC’s defense allowed just 216.3 passing yards (improved from 246.2 in 2019). Safety Talanoa Hufanga was a consensus All-American first teamer.
Williams, 24, spent 2019 training athletes at Gifted Training after participating in camp with the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent.
He started 33 of the 47 games he played as a safety at Nebraska (2015-18). He had 204 tackles and 6 interceptions in his career, including 27 stops as a 2018 senior and 62 with 3 picks as a 2016 sophomore. The Cornhuskers played in the 2015 Foster Farms Bowl and 2016 Music City Bowl.
He was a 2-time (2013-14) All-State player at Carver High in Atlanta, Ga.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Nebraska in 2018.
