Joe Bolden came to USC in January of 2019 as a special teams quality control analyst.

He was a defensive graduate assistant at Washington State in 2017 and 2018. Before that, he was a graduate assistant in 2016 at his alma mater, Michigan, working with the linebackers and special teams.

He played linebacker for 4 years (2012-15) at Michigan, captaining the Wolverines as a 2015 senior when he was All-Big Ten honorable mention. He started his final 3 seasons and had 270 career tackles with 18.5 tackles for loss. As a 2012 freshman, he made the All-Big Ten Freshman team.

He prepped at Colerain High in Cincinnati (Ohio.).

Bolden, 25, received his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Michigan in 2015.

He was born Aug. 19, 1993. He is married and his wife’s name is Kristen. His father, Dan, played football at Hanover College.
