THIS YEAR:
Freshman Brianna Selby is in her first season as a sprinter on the USC track and field team.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Selby is a 2024 graduate of Indian River High in Chesapeake, Va. She has a 100m PR of 11.29 and a 60 best of 7.19. Selby won the 2023 and 2024 New Balance Nationals 60m dash titles, winning her senior season with a meet-record time of 7.19. Her 7.19 time in the 60m dash led all high school women in 2024. She holds the Virginia state record in the 55m dash with a time of 6.76.
PERSONAL:
Brianna was born on Jan. 3, 2006 in Chesapeake, Va.…Her parents are Monica and David Selby and she has five siblings, Emoni, Cierra, Amiel, Chase and Aiden…Lists her favorite television show as All American…Her favorite foods are mac and cheese, fries and chicken…She would like to travel to Paris someday…Selby is a Communication major at USC.
