Attended Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas… competed in indoor volleyball (team captain) and track and field… totaled 645 kills and 400 digs… was a two time Southlake Carroll Volleyball "C-Award" recipient (MVP)… earned 2019 Co-Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman… made 2022 First Team All-District 6A as a senior… made 2021 Second Team All-District 6A as a junior… was 2020 Honorable Mention All-District as a freshman… was on the Star Telegram Watchlist in 2022… helped her high school to Area Champions in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and Bi-District Champions 2020, 2021, and 2022… played club beach volleyball for Beach Ten Thousand (2017-2023) & Madsand (2022)… was a member of USAV U17 National Team in 2021-2022… led club to finish first at the 2022 BVCA National Championship… was a 2019 USAV National Championship Semifinalist, a 2021 P1440 Regional Champion, and a 2019 AVP National Championship Quarterfinalist.

Kaylee Ann Young was born on Aug. 26, 2005, in Austin, Texas… parents are Karen and Corey Young… has one younger sibling Kinsley… lists her biggest sports hero as American runner David Goggins because he has inspired her to be disciplined and to pursue any sports dream she wants… lists USC Beach Volleyball All-American Julia Scoles as her favorite USC athlete… mother, Karen, played basketball at TCU from 1997-2001… father, Corey, player basketball at Texas Wesleyan University… uncle, Carey, played in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars… grandfather, Art, played football at SMU… uncles Chris, Robert, and Carey played football at UTEP… uncle, Arthur, played football at Austin College… aunt, Taylor, was a professional golfer (LGPA) and played at Costal Carolina and TAMUCC… cousin, Arthur, currently plays football at Morehead State University… is studying neuroscience in the USC Dornsife School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.
