Brendan Loftus has been as an assistant athletic director in charge of budget and financial performance with USC Athletics since 2015. He started at USC as an operations manager in late 2009, then became a business manager in 2011.
Prior to USC, he worked as a financial analyst in mergers and acquisitions with Fortune 500 company National Grid (2008-09).
He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in 2008, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team, including on the 2008 NCAA national championship team. He also played for three years (2008-11), as a professional lacrosse player, in the MLL with San Francisco, Chicago and Denver.
He received an MBA, specializing in analytics and strategy, from Marshall School of Business at USC in 2017. During this time, he completed his study abroad program in international business in Japan. In addition, he received a certificate in sports management from the Sports Management Institute in 2015.
