USC Baseball announces the promotion of Sergio Brown and hirings of two new coaches.

Grant Kastelan enters his first season with USC Baseball in 2026, after spending three seasons with The Milwaukee Brewers AA affiliate Biloxi Shuckers as the team’s strength and conditioning specialist. Prior to his three years with Biloxi, he spent four years at Appalachian State working as the strength and conditioning coach for the baseball, women’s basketball and women’s tennis programs. He completed a graduate assistant position at Lindenwood University where he worked with multiple sports including baseball. Kastelan has also completed internships with the Notre Dame football program, the Ohio State Olympic strength and conditioning team, and at Pepperdine.
