Lauren Preston was named Deputy Director of Athletic Compliance in February 2024. Preston joined the Athletic Compliance staff in November 2020. She served as a Director for a year and a half before being promoted to Senior Director in April 2022.
In her current role, Preston assists in the day-to-day internal operations while also overseeing the compliance efforts for Baseball, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s and Women’s Water Polo. She also serves as the compliance liaison for ARMS, International Services, DEI, Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS), and OAC’s Summer Legal Fellowship program.
Previously, Preston served as the Compliance and Student-Development Officer at George Washington University for three and a half years. Prior to arriving at George Washington, she spent a year at the American Athletic Conference.
She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University and earned her Master of Science in Sport Administration and law degree from Valparaiso Law School.
Preston is an active member of Women Leaders in College Sports and the National Association for Athletics Compliance.
Preston is a native of Orlando, Florida and now resides in Glendale with her husband, David./p>
