Sebastian Fanselow, former ATP professional and three-time NCAA Division I All-American, joined the USC Men's Tennis coaching staff in August 2026 as an assistant coach.
Fanselow arrives at USC following an accomplished professional playing career and brings extensive experience in high-performance tennis, athlete development and sport psychology.
A former standout at Pepperdine, Fanselow was a three-time NCAA Division I All-American, WCC Player of the Year and recipient of the ITA Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship Award.
Following his collegiate career, Fanselow spent more than a decade competing professionally on the ATP Tour. During his 12-plus years on tour, he reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 273 and captured 12 ITF titles while competing around the world.
In addition to his playing experience, Fanselow brings a background in sport psychology and mental performance to the Trojan program. He earned a Master of Science in Sport Psychology from Longford International College in Ireland in 2022 and later founded MindServe, where he has provided mental performance coaching to competitive tennis players with an emphasis on youth and emerging athletes.
Through MindServe, Fanselow has worked with players on managing pressure, overcoming mental barriers and developing greater performance consistency. He has also delivered workshops for international tennis academies focused on athlete development and career transitions.
Fanselow also previously worked in athlete management, managing sponsorship partnerships with Top 100 ATP and WTA players, negotiating international endorsement agreements and coordinating brand partnerships, athlete appearances and tournament activations.
His combination of NCAA success, more than a decade of professional playing experience and expertise in mental performance adds another player-development resource to the USC men’s tennis staff.
