Tatyana Obukhova McMahon is in her 18th season (2008-25) at USC as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. She has worked with a number of Trojan teams, including football, track, cross country, rowing, tennis and golf. She has worked closely with Olympic medalists Rai Benjamin, Kendall Ellis and Michael Norman.
Obukhova McMahon was an All-American triple jumper at USC (2000-2002), winning Pac-10 titles in the event each year. She was third at the NCAAs in 2001 and fourth in 2002. She helped the Women of Troy to the 2001 NCAA team championship.
She was an economics major at USC.
She is a native of Yasnogorsk, Russia. She and her husband, John, have a daughter named Valentina.
