LOS ANGELES -- Katrin Dierolf scored a game-high four goals to lead the No. 3 USC Trojans to a 10-5 win to defeat the No. 5 San Jose State Spartans in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation action at McDonald's Swim Stadium.
The Women of Troy jumped out early with six goals in the first period, holding a 6-3 lead at halftime. USC improves to 13-2 overall and 5-0 in MPSF play.
USC travels to Hawaii for a match on Friday (March 15).
