LOS ANGELES -- "The Gillespie Notebook" makes its debut exclusively on usctrojans.com with comments from USC baseball head coach Mike Gillespie. Gillespie, who enters his 19th season at USC, uses his first column to talk about the Trojans' fall practices in preparation for the upcoming 2005 season.

The column can be accessed solely on the baseball webpage.

USC opens the 2005 season on Tuesday (Feb. 8) at 6 p.m. against San Diego State at Dedeaux Field. All games will be broadcast live on usctrojans.com.
