
Irene Cho Wins Stroke Play At Women's Western Amateur

Madison, Wisc. - USC sophomore Irene Cho followed up a first round 67 with a second-round 71 on Tuesday to win stroke play at the 2004 Women's Western Amateur played at Maple Bluff Country Club.
Cho, an All-Pac-10 pick in 2004, won by seven strokes over Mollie Fankhauser (145).
After winning stroke play, Cho moved on to match play, where she defeated Lindsay Robinson in Wednesday's first round, 4 and 3, then beat Lauren Mielbrecht in Thursday's second round, 2 up.
The Amateur finishes up on Saturday.
