ATHENS, Greece -- For the second time in as many days, Kaitlin Sandeno earned a medal at the 2004 Olympics. Sandeno earned the bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle event with a mark of 4:06.19. France's Laure Manaudou earned the gold with a 4:05.34 time. On Saturday, Sandeno earned the silver medal in the 400m individual medley, shattering the American record with a time of 4:34.95, eclipsing Summer Sanders' 1992 mark of 4:37.58. It's the fifth medal of the Olympics for USC athletes, all in swimming. Trojan athletes are looking to extend an amazing streak of winning at least one gold medal in the Summer Olympics since 1912.
