
Bodrogi, Jensen Lead USC's First Win Under Coach Salo

Seniors Viktor Bodrogi and Larsen Jensen each won twice to lead the men's swimming team to an easy win over Cal State Northridge, 86-9, on Saturday (Oct. 14) at the USC McDonald's Swim Stadium.
The win was the first for Troy under new Trojan coach Dave Salo.
Jensen's wins came in the 500y (4:34.07) and 1000y free (9:15.07) while Bodrogi took the 200y back (1:48.46) and the 200y fly (1:48.74), the latter win leading a first through fourth finish for the Trojans.
Senior Gergely Meszaros won the 200y free (1:43.02), edging teammate Bryce Elser (1:43.12). Senior Richard Gosper won the 50y free (20.60), sophomore Vanni Mangoni won the 400y IM (3:58.96), senior Sean Sussex won the 100y free (45.17) and senior Mihaly Flaskay won the 200y breast (2:03.26). Flaskay out-touched senior teammate Joon Youm (2:03.31).
