Continued strong by play by sophomore Belen Mozo and freshman Joanne Lee propelled the No. 4 USC women's golf team to a second-place finish after the final day of the 2007 Kent Youel Invitational at the Kapolei G.C. on Wednesday (Oct. 31).
USC finished with a combined 21-over 885 (294-301-290), four strokes back of first-place UCLA (881). USC's final round was lowest for the field and the Women of Troy turned in their third top 2 finish in a row.
Mozo and Lee tied for third overall at 2-over 218, one shot back of first place finishers Tiffany Joh and Maria Jose Uribe, both of UCLA. Lee's previous best finish in two starts this season was a tie for 35th.
