Buss Is Magic In Alaska Baseball League

LOS ANGELES -- Junior outfielder Nick Buss (Clinton Township, Mich./De La Salle HS/San Diego Mesa CC) was named to the 2007 Alaska Baseball League Post Season All-Star Team after leading the league with a .369 batting average and 29 stolen bases.
Buss played in 42 games, going 58-for-157 with six doubles, a league-leading five triples, two home runs and 23 RBI for the Peninsula Oilers. He was 29-for-34 on the basepaths and walked 24 times against only 11 strikeouts for a .445 OBP.
Last season for the Trojans, Buss batted .290 with 14 doubles, a home run, 13 RBI and six stolen bases.
