Senior Lizette Salas rebounded from a rare off round to fire a 4-under 68 while junior Lisa McCloskey and sophomore Cyna Rodriguez were each even Saturday (Sept. 25) during the second round of the 2010 Mason Rudolph Championship at the Legends G.C. in Nashville, Tenn.
USC is eighth at 3-under 573 (286-287) after a 1-under second round. LSU remains in first at 16-under 560 (278-282) while defending NCAA champion Purdue is a stroke back at 561. Cal is third (563).
Salas followed her first-round 76 with a 68 and is tied for 33rd at par 144. On Friday, she had six bogeys before her first birdie. On Saturday, she had four birdies without a blemish on the scorecard, including three among the last four holes.
McCloskey is tied for 20th at 2-under 142 (70-72). She started slow, 3-over through eight holes, only to finish at 3-under the rest of the way.
Rodriguez is tied for 33rd at even after her second 72 in a row. She followed two bogeys on the front 9 with two on the back 9. Junior Inah Park is tied for 43rd at 2-over 146 (71-75) while freshman Rachel Morris is tied for 57th at 5-over 149 (73-76).
