Khaled Holmes Named Academic All-District

USC senior center Khaled Holmes was named to the 2012 CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 NCAA Division I team.

Holmes, a 3-year starting offensive lineman, has a 3.31 grade point average while working on a master's degree in communication management. He received his bachelor's degree in communication in the spring of 2011.

He made the 2011 Pac-12 All-Academic second team after being 2010 Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

He now advances to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-American voting.
