USC women's sand volleyball players Kirby Burnham and Stevi Robinson advanced to the quarterfinals at the NORCECA Beach Circuit event in Aruba on Dec. 1.
As USA's B team, Burnham and Robinson defeated the Puerto Rico B team of Dariam Acevedo and Tatiana Encarnación, 21-16, 21-16, in pool play, then swept a team from Dominica in the elimination round, 21-12, 21-14.
Burnham-Robinson then fell in the quarters, 22-20, 21-12, to Tealle Hunkus and Summer Ross, the USA's A team that went on to win the tourney's gold medal.
