
Khaled Holmes Named To Academic All-America Second Team

USC senior center Khaled Holmes was named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America second team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Holmes, who has a 3.31 cumulative grade point average, received his bachelor's degree in the spring of 2011 and is working on a master's degree in communication management.
He previously was named to the 2012 CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 team and Pac-12 All-Academic first team.
A 3-year starter, Holmes made the 2012 All-Pac-12 first team and was one of six finalists for the Rimington Trophy, given to the nation's top center.
