MATCH NOTES
- USC had its 16-match home winning streak snapped. It had not lost at home since Sept. 21, 2012, when Oregon won in three sets.
- The Trojans dropped to 38-20 in their all-time series with the Huskies; 21-7 in home matches.
- Washington is one of just four teams that can claim it has won more than once in the Galen Center. The others are Stanford (4), UCLA (2), and Hawai'i (2).
- Sophomore OH Samantha Bricio had one service ace to run her streak of matches with at least one ace to 12. She has only been held without an ace in one match, this season (Eastern Washington).
- Bricio's single ace moved her into sole possession of fourth place in USC's single-season record book ahead of Janice Johnson (1982). Bricio now has 54 on the season and is within five of tying the program record for single-season aces. Bricio did move into a 10th-place tie with Christine Brigman (1987-89) in USC's career records with 97 aces.
- Bricio logged her fifth double-double of the season (16 kills, 15 digs); the 16th of her career.
- Senior OH Sara Shaw reached a new season high with 14 kills, and matched a season-high with 14 digs. It was her fourth double-double of the season and the 12th of her career.
- Senior libero Natalie Hagglund collected 23 digs and now has 2,059 in her career. Hagglund is now 12 digs from tying the USC record of 2,071 career digs held by Debora Seilhamer (2003-06).
- Hagglund's third dig of the night put her into seventh place in the Pac-12 career record books ahead of Washington's Candace Lee (2002-05) who had 2,038 career digs. Hagglund is now poised to move into fifth place ahead of Chrissie Zartman (UCLA, 2001-04) who had 2,064 digs and Seilhamer who is currently fifth in the Pac-12 record books.
