Successful Summer for USC Baseball Student-Athletes

LOS ANGELES- USC baseball student-athletes have completed their seasons competing in amateur summer leagues throughout the country.
Four Trojans received All-League honors and six Trojans were named All-Stars and played in their respective league's All-Star Games.
Below is a recap of each returner's summer ball experiences.
Sean Adler - Anchorage Glacier Pilots (Alaska League)
*Earned First-Team All-Alaska League for his performance throughout the summer
*Pitched in 12 games and threw a total of 32 innings for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots
*Finished the season with a 2.81 ERA and threw 29 strikeouts throughout the season
*Was a starter for the Pilots with a 1-2 record
*Anchorage finished fifth in the Alaska League
Vahn Bozoian - Holyoke Blue Sox (New England Collegiate League)
*Named to the All-Star Team for the New England Collegiate League
*Placed second in the New England Collegiate League Home Run Derby
*Appeared in 49 games for the Holyoke Blue Sox
*Recorded a .235 batting average, a pair of home runs and 21 RBI
*Holyoke placed third in the Western Division of the New England Collegiate League
Turner Clouse - Peninsula Oilers (Alaska League)
*Hit .281 in 18 games with 16 hits, one of them a home run
*Recorded six RBI for the season
*Was a two-way player as he also pitched
*Pitched in seven games, and finished with a 3.68 ERA with four strikeouts
*Oilers placed fourth in the Alaska League
Dante Flores - Chatham Anglers (Cape Cod League)
*Earned First-Team All-Cape Cod League honors for his performance throughout the summer
*Named a starter for the Cape Cod League Eastern Division All-Star Team
*Played in 39 games with a batting average of .317
*Had 44 hits, recording 13 doubles, two triples and one home run
*Chatham placed first the in Cape Cod League Eastern Division
James Guillen - LaCrosse Loggers (Northwoods League)
*Threw in 20 games with a 5-1 record
*Recorded 21 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched
*Loggers placed second in the Northwoods League Southern Division
Jake Hernandez - Hyannis Harbor Hawks (Cape Cod League)
*Caught 16 games throughout the season
*Hit .246 recording 15 hits, four doubles, and 10 RBI
*Returned for his third season playing in the Cape Cod League
*Harbor Hawks placed second in the Cape Cod League Western Division
Marc Huberman - Bellingham Bells (West Coast League)
*Named to the West Coast League All-Star Team
*Pitched in 22 innings in 20 games with an ERA of 2.49
*Recorded 27 strikeouts in his 22 innings of work, only giving up 12 hits
*Bells placed third in the West Coast League Northern Division
Brooks Kriske - LaCrosse Loggers (Northwoods League)
*Pitched in 18 innings in 11 games with 21 strikeouts
*Finished the season with an ERA 4.41
*Lead the team in strikeouts per nine innings
*Loggers placed second in the Northwoods League Southern Division
Blake Lacey - Plymouth Pilgrims (New England Collegiate League)
*Batted .245 in 38 games with 34 hits
*Recorded 11 doubles with eight RBI
*Pilgrims placed seventh in the New England Collegiate League Eastern Division
Nigel Nootbaar - Bourne Braves (Cape Cod League)
*Pitched 12 innings in seven games with one start
*Recorded an ERA of 2.31 logging 10 strikeouts and only giving up six hits
*Braves placed fourth in the Cape Cod League Western Division
AJ Ramirez - Peninsula Pilots (Alaska League)
*Earned All-Alaska League honors for his performance throughout the summer
*Named to the Alaska Baseball All-Star Team
*Batted .282 in 29 games with 31 hits *Recorded six doubles, two triples, and one home run
*Pilots placed fifth in the Alaska Baseball League
Kyle Richter - NLB Waves (Orange County Collegiate League)
*Played in six games for the NLB Waves
*Recorded an ERA of 4.50 in 6.0 innings pitched
*Had four strikeouts throughout the season
*NLB Waves finished in first place in the Orange County Collegiate League
Timmy Robinson - Newport Gulls (New England Collegiate League)
*Batted .279 in 31 games with 31 hits
*Recorded eight doubles and one home run
*Gulls placed first in the New England Collegiate League Eastern Division
*Team finished second overall, lost in the championship series to the Keene SwampBats
Sean Silva - Walla Walla Sweets (West Coast League)
*Named to the West Coast League North Division All-Star Team
*Earned First-Team All West Coast League for his performance throughout the summer
*Pitched in 44 innings in 12 games of work
*Recorded 29 Strikeouts and posted an ERA of 2.63
*Finished the summer with a record of 4-0 in seven starts
*Walla Walla finished in first place in the North Division of the West Coast League
Reggie Southall - Walla Walla Sweets (West Coast League)
*Batted .222 in 20 games throughout the summer
*Recorded 12 hits including one triple
*Walla Walla finished in first place in the North Division of the West Coast League
Garrett Stubbs - Plymouth Pilgrims (New England Collegiate League) and Cotuit Kettleers (Cape Cod League)
*Began the season playing for the Plymouth Pilgrims in the New England Collegiate League
*Named to the New England Collegiate League Eastern Division All-Star Team
*Batted .267 in 30 games while playing for the Pilgrims
*Recorded 28 hits, three of which were doubles while in the New England League
*Picked up by the Cotuit Kettleers when the NECBL finished
*Played eight overall games for the Kettleers, going 2-for-5 with one RBI in two regular season games. In six playoff contests, Stubbs was 5-for-11 at the plate, scoring three runs and driving in another three.
*Cotuit Kettleers won the Cape Cod League
*Played against teammate Kyle Twomey in the Cape Cod Championship series
Kyle Twomey - Orleans Firebirds (Cape Cod League)
*Named the No. 11 prospect in the Cape Cod League by Baseball America
*Appeared in 12 games with one start and threw in 23 innings
*Earned wins against the Chatham Anglers and Bourne Braves
*Recorded an ERA of 4.62 in 23.1 innings pitched
*Logged an impressive 31 strikeouts, only one strikeout behind the team leader who had 32
*Played against teammate Garrett Stubbs in the Cape Cod Championship series
*Orleans finished in second place in the Eastern Division of the Cape Cod League, earning a runner-up finish in the playoffs to the Kettleers
