MATCH NOTES
- USC improved to 46-13 in its all-time series with Washington State and has won 18 of the last 20 meetings with the Cougars including the last two in a row.
- WSU won just its second set all-time at Galen Center. The Cougars last won a set in the building in 2009.
- Junior OH Samantha Bricio picked up her 12th double-double of the season (34th career) and finished with 19 kills and 10 digs.
- With 22.0 points, Bricio increased her career total to 1,519.5, and moved into third in USC career history. She went ahead of Bibiana Candelas (2002-05; 1,512.0 points) and Jessica Gysin (2006-09; 1,514.0 points).
- Sophomore setter Alice Pizzasegola logged her second double-double of the season with 28 assists and 10 digs; the third double-double of her career.
- Sophomore OH Elise Ruddins posted her first-career double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs.
- Sophomore libero Taylor Whittingham had 20 digs for her 12th straight match in double digits for digs; her team-leading 18th such match this season. Whittingham has also had four straight matches with 20 or more.
