GAME NOTES
- USC improved to 3-0 in its all-time series against Fresno State. The Trojans have out-scored the Bulldogs, 52-13, in the three meetings.
- The Trojans won their third straight league opener. USC beat Saint Mary's College, 17-8, in 2013, and defeated UC Davis, 15-10, in 2014.
- Sophomore attackerMichaela Michaelset a new MPSF single-game record with 15 draw controls. She broke the previously held record of 13 byAmanda Johansen(USC) who set it against Fresno State on April 20, 2013.
- Junior midfielderAmanda Johansentied her career high with five goals and six points. She had the same line against UC Davis on March 6, 2013.
- USC failed to record a save for the first time in program history, but still managed to earn the victory.
