RIO DE JANEIRO -- Representing USA, Lauren Fendrick and partner Brooke Sweat dropped a tough three-set match, 21-18, 24-26, 15-13, to Russia's Ekaterina Birlova and Evgenia Ukolova on Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Beach Volleyball Arena. Fendrick and Sweat fell to 0-3 in Pool A and were eliminated from the Olympic tournament.
