RIO DE JANEIRO -- Representing USA, Lauren Fendrick and partner Brooke Sweat went three sets against Monika Brzostek and Kinga Kolosinska of Poland but lost, 14-21, 21-13, 15-7, in Pool A play at the Beach Volleyball Arena on Sunday, Aug. 7.
Up next, Fendrick-Sweat will face Brazil's tandem of Larissa Franca Maestrini and Talita Rocha on Tuesday, Aug 9, at approximately 4:30 p.m. in Brazil (12:30 p.m. PT).
