MATCH NOTES
- USC won its first match of the season and avoided losing four straight matches for what would have been only the third time under head coach Mick Haley (2009, 2014).
- The Trojans improved to 4-0 in all-time meetings with Kentucky.
- The USC victory put Haley just seven wins from reach his 400th at USC. It also puts the program at just 10 wins from reaching the 1,000-win threshold.
- Freshman OH Khalia Lanier produced her second double-double in three matches and finished with 13 kills and 10 digs.
- Senior MB Elise Ruddins logged a season-high 10 kills.
- Junior OPP Niki Withers finished with a career-high five blocks (one solo).
