Beach Volley Heals The Bay
November 14, 2017 | Women's Beach Volleyball, Trojan Outreach
This weekend, USC's national champion beach volleyball team tackled an issue near and dear to its heart. Members of the team partnered with Heal the Bay to do a beach cleanup near the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica.
After practice on Saturday, the Women of Troy headed west to pick up trash and remove other items from the sand and water, making the beach a cleaner, safer place.
The day served as the first of three planned beach clean ups by USC's female student-athletes. Once two more clean ups are completed, a portion of the beach will be dedicated to the Women of Troy as part of the Adopt-A-Beach program.
