First Annual Lynn Swann Golf Classic Set For Jan. 16

Lizette Salas and Stewart Hagestad are featured gusets.
The First Annual Lynn Swann Golf Classic, to support the USC women's and men's golf teams, will be held on Jan. 16, 2018, at the Wilshire Country Club.
Sponsorship options start at $75 to attend the Awards Dinner and $600 for a round of golf at Wilshire, one of the USC golf teams' top partners. More sponsorship possibilities are included on the tournament participation form on this page.
Registration for the event begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The field is limited to 128 players. A cocktail hour follows at 4 p.m. with the Awards Dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.
In addition to our current teams and coaching staffs, the event will feature some of our former Trojan greats on hand to help make it a special day. In particular, we will honor two former Trojan golfers who have both had incredible years on the links, LPGA star Lizette Salas and amateur phenom Stewart Hagestad.
Along with having another fine season on the LPGA Tour, Salas helped the U.S. Team defeat Europe at the Solheim Cup in August. An amazing ambassador for USC from the day she stepped on campus as a freshman, Salas finished with a career-best $878,283 in earnings this season, 21st overall on the LPGA Tour.
Hagestad captured the United Stated Mid-Amateur Championship in late 2016, propelling him into the golf spotlight at the 2017 Masters, where he made the cut and was the low amateur, taking home the Silver Cup. In addition, Stewart helped the U.S. win the Walker Cup this past September at Los Angeles Country Club.
