LAX SCOREs an Award
November 07, 2018 | Women's Lacrosse, Trojan Outreach, Features
USC women's lacrosse team recently completed their SCORE (Serving the Community through Outreach, Recreation and Education) by hosting a lacrosse clinic for local youth.
In September, the Women of Troy met attended a workshop held by Athletes For Hope, which was meant to inspire the student-athletes to use the power of their platform.
They quickly sprung into action by hosting young girls from Harlem Lacrosse LA for a skills clinic at USC. Harlem Lacrosse LA is an organization designed to create meaningful lacrosse experiences for the children of South LA, Compton and Inglewood, and USC's clinic was just that.
After hosting the clinic, USC women's lacrosse was named the University Team of the Month by Athletes For Hope.
