LOS ANGELES – Fans will have a chance to get their first look at the USC baseball team in action this weekend, as the Trojans host their first fall game on Saturday at 12 p.m. against UC Riverside. The Trojans then head to UC Irvine on the following Saturday (Nov. 16) for a 12 p.m. game against the Anteaters.
This Saturday's game at Dedeaux Field will be free and open to the public. The teams are planning to play an 11-inning exhibition.
The game at UC Irvine on Nov. 16 will also be open to the public and will have a $5 entry fee. The Trojans and Anteaters will play a traditional 9-inning contest that day.
USC is entering its first season under Head Coach Jason Gill, who was hired in June to take over the program.
