Daniel Cukierman To Compete At Oracle ITA Masters

USC junior Daniel Cukierman is making a repeat appearance at the Oracle ITA Masters, cruising over to Malibu for another shot at a fall singles title. Cukierman opens action at the event tomorrow (Sept. 26) with eyes on making a run through to the championship bout on Sept. 29. The event will be hosted at Malibu Racquet Club and Pepperdine's Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.

Cukierman kicks off his junior campaign ranked No. 8 in the nation in singles. Last year at the Oracle ITA Masters in Malibu, Cukierman nabbed two swift victories to reach the quarterfinals, where he fell in three sets to an eventual finalist. Cukierman will be looking to become the third consecutive Trojan to win the singles crown at the Oracle ITA Masters. Brandon Holt won it all in 2017, and Laurens Verboven took the title last year.

Cukierman is the No. 2 seed in this year's singles draw. He'll open up action in the Round of 32 tomorrow (Sept. 26) with a 2 p.m. matchup against Bryant's Guido Argentini.

Cukierman will also pull double duty with action in the mixed doubles draw. He's paired up with UCLA's Jada Hart as the No. 2 seeded duo in mixed doubles.
