- Sophomore defender Kaleigh Brennan broke out with career highs of four ground balls and two caused turnovers.

- For the Pride, Jess Smith had 14 saves in the cage. Alexa Mattera scored four goals and had four ground balls. Alyssa Parrella and Grace Langella each scored two goals apiece. Darcie Smith led all players with eight draw controls.
- In a true defensive battle, each team scored only once through the first 23 minutes of the game. Concialdi cracked the code and scored a go-ahead goal with 6:15 to play in the first half that led to a 3-1 Trojan burst for a 4-2 lead at the break.
- Hofstra came out of halftime on the attack and needed only three minutes to equalize off two goals from Mattera. Concialdi's dish to sophomore Erin Bakes netted a goal and stopped the Pride rush to put USC back on top, 5-4. Hofstra was unfazed and scored four of the next five goals to take a two-goal lead, 8-6, with 16:06 left to play on Parrella's final goal.
- After nine minutes back and forth, senior attacker Hope Anhut rolled from the back of the Hofstra crease to get a shot past the Pride keeper that sparked a 3-0 run. With under four minutes to play, Miller grabbed her own rebound and scored her second goal to bring the Trojans even at eight-all.
- Hofstra won the next draw, but Brennan's caused turnover and ground ball put the Trojans back on offense. Concialdi's drive to goal was awarded an eight-meter attempt and led to the game-winning goal at 2:01. Despite another Pride draw win, Huff forced the ball out of the Hofstra stick before junior Lizzy Wagner secured the ground ball to run out the clock for the win.
