
USC Cross Country Places Seventh at Pomona-Pitzer Invite

All Trojans placed in the top 100 out of 222 finishers
CLAREMONT, Calif. – The USC cross country team earned its best team placement of the season Saturday morning, finishing seventh out of 22 teams in the women's 6K at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite.
Holli Prest led the Women of Troy into the finish with a time of 22:40.0. Prest started in 30th place at the 1K split and moved into 28th place by the finish.
Jacqueline Duarte came in only three places behind Prest at 31st, finishing in 22:47.0. Haley Spoden also stuck to the crew of Prest and Duarte, finishing in 33rd place with a time of 22:53.5.
Isabella Duarte had a finish line kick to move her into 43rd place in a time of 23:11.0.
Paige Unger brought home the strong team finish in 92nd with a time of 24:10.0 in her second appearance for the Trojans.
The Women of Troy have two weeks before returning to the UC Riverside Ag Ops Course for the Highlander Invitational on Oct. 18 at 8:40 a.m. More information can be found on usctrojans.com or @usc_track_field on Instagram and X.
