USC Women's Soccer Standout Maribel Flores Named to All-America Second Team

LOS ANGELES -- USC women's soccer standout midfielder Maribel Flores was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America second team on Friday with the release of the organizations postseason awards.
Flores, who was also named to the All-North Region first team earlier in the week, capped off a season in which she was named the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and to the All-Big Ten first team. For her career, Flores has also been named to the Freshman Best XI in 2023 (All-America equivalent), the 2023 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and has garnered all-conference honors twice.
In 2025, Flores led the Trojans' offensive attack all season, scoring nine goals and posting four assists while starting every game. Flores' nine goals and 22 points were second in the Big Ten and her three game-winning goals were fifth in the conference. She posted three multi-goal games on the year and her four assists were tied for the team lead.
Over the course of her career, Flores has 15 goals and 10 assists in 50 games played. The Junior has made several appearances for the Mexican Youth National Team, including playing in the U-20 World Cup last year.
