
USC Men's Golf Announces 2025-26 Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The USC men's golf team announced its 2025-26 schedule this week, with the Trojans opening up the season by hosting the Whirlwind Invitational in Chandler, Ariz. next month.
USC will play a total of 10 tournaments during the regular season, with four events during the fall and six after the new year. This year's Big Ten Championship will be held May 1-3 at Pumpkin Ridge GC near Portland, Ore., and the NCAA Championship Finals will be May 29-June 3 at The Club at La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif.
Whirlwind Invitational (Sept. 8-9)
Host: USC
Location: Whirlwind GC (Chandler, Ariz.)
Notes: The Trojans will kick off the season by hosting the Whirlwind Invitational for the first time. The Trojans hosted the Southern Dunes Invitational to open last season in Arizona as well, playing at AK-Chin Southern Dunes GC. USC won the season-opening tournament, posting a 28-under-par 836 to outpace the eight-team field.
William H. Tucker Intercollegiate (Sept. 19-20)
Host: New Mexico
Location: UNM Championship GC (Albuquerque, N.M.)
Notes: This will be the third straight year that USC will compete at New Mexico's Tucker Intercollegiate. The event is played at the 7,546-yard, par-72 UNM Championship Course.
Trinity Forest Invite (Oct. 5-7)
Host: SMU
Location: Trinity Forest GC (Dallas, Texas)
Notes: USC also played in SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational last season, with the Trojans placing fourth in the field after posting a 26-under-par 838 over the course of the three-day tournament. Jack Buchanan posted the best finish for a USC freshman since 2020 at the event, shooting 12-under-par to finish second.
Golf Club of Georgia Intercollegiate (Oct. 24-26)
Host: Georgia Tech
Location: Golf Club of Georgia (Alpharetta, Ga.)
Notes: For the fifth straight season, USC will be competing at the Golf Club of Georgia Intercollegiate. The Trojans had a strong showing in Alpharetta last season, taking down six Top 25 programs to finish fifth in the 14-team field.
Copper Cup (Jan. 18-20)
Host: Arizona State
Location: El Niguel CC (Laguna Niguel, Calif.)
Notes: The Trojans will open 2026 in Orange County at the Copper Cup. The Copper Cup will be a four-team match play competition between USC, UCLA, Arizona State and Arizona.
Southwestern Invitational (Jan. 27-29)
Host: Pepperdine
Location: North Ranch CC (Westlake Village, Calif.)
Notes: This will be the eighth straight season that USC has competed in the Southwestern Invitational. The Trojans finished sixth out of 14 teams (including seven Top 25 programs) in last year's event, with Antonio Safa finishing 13th individually.
The Desimone Invitational (March 9-10)
Host: California
Location: Lake Merced GC (Daly City, Calif.)
Notes: Cal is hosting its inaugural Desimone Invitational this season, with the event named after the Golden Bears' legendary coach Steve Desimone. The Trojans will be one of 15 teams participating in the event, which will feature several former Pac-12 foes.
Valspar Intercollegiate (March 23-24)
Host: Houston
Location: Floridian National GC (Palm City Florida)
Notes: The Valspar Intercollegiate has been played at Floridian National since 2014. USC last competed in the event in 2022.
The Cowboy Classic (March 31-April 1)
Host: Wyoming
Location: AK-Chin Southern Dunes GC (Maricopa, Ariz.)
Notes: This will be the third straight season that USC has played in The Cowboy Classic at Southern Dunes GC. The Trojans picked up a Top 10 finish in a 22-team field last season, shooting a 10-under-par 854 to place eighth.
Western Intercollegiate (April 13-15)
Host: San Jose State
Location: Pasatiempo GC (Santa Cruz, Calif.)
Notes: The 14-team tournament hosted by San Jose State will wrap up the regular season for USC. The Trojans last competed in the event in 2023 when it was also at Pasatiempo.
Big Ten Championship (May 1-3)

Notes: This year's Big Ten Championship will be on the west coast at Pumpkin Ridge GC just outside of Portland. USC played in its first ever Big Ten Championship last season, with the 2025 event held at Baltimore CC.
