Five Trojans will represent USC at the San Diego event.
LOS ANGELES – USC women's tennis will send five Trojans, including three newcomers, to the four-day USTA SoCal Intercollegiate Championships running Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 28 in San Diego, Calif.
Sophomores Jana Hossam and Simone Kay will lead the Trojans as the only veterans on the trip, accompanying newcomers Eugenia Zozaya, Dani Borruel and Krisha Mahendran.
The event will feature both a singles and doubles competition, with Trojans Zozaya/Borruel and Hossam/Mahendran pairing together for doubles.
Trojan freshman Krisha Mahendran checked in at No. 17 in the ITA newcomer rankings and will make her USC debut in singles play on Thursday.
